EDITOR

Words, scripts and editorial work.

I work with authors, publishers and audiobook producers on books, scripts and everything in between.

I work in both Swedish and English. Ten years abroad have given me a strong feel for tone, rhythm and nuance.

I studied podcast production, with a focus on journalistic methods, storytelling and dramaturgy. During my studies, I interned at Storyside/Storytel and have since continued working with them as a freelancer. Today, my work spans editing, writing, research and editorial development.

I like working closely with the text — finding what works, what needs attention, and what can be left alone.

For me, it comes down to rhythm — whether a character stays true to their voice, where a sentence needs to pause, and when something simply works as it is. I pay attention to structure and timing, but also to knowing when to leave something alone.

Research

Translation

Translation between English and Swedish, with attention to tone, rhythm and natural language.

Copy Editing & Proofreading

Editing and proofreading for clarity, flow, tone and consistency. I refine language, improve readability and catch errors while keeping the original voice intact.
